Countdown Timer Options for Timer Widget

The Set Countdown Timer section allows you to configure and manage the countdown timer for your widget. This tool helps create urgency or excitement by displaying a timer that counts down to a specific event or deadline. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the features:

 

 

1. Fixed Countdown

• Field (e.g., 12/20/2024 02:56 PM):
  • Allows you to set a fixed date and time for the countdown to end. This is ideal for one-time events such as sales, product launches, or special promotions.
  • Example: Set the timer to end at the exact time of your holiday sale deadline.

2. Evergreen Countdown

• Checkbox (Evergreen Countdown):
  • Enables a countdown timer that resets for every visitor or session. Instead of being tied to a specific date, the timer starts fresh for each viewer.
  • Use Cases:
    • Limited-time offers (e.g., “Deal expires in 24 hours”).
    • Retargeting campaigns with a personalized countdown.
  • Example: Display a 24-hour timer that resets for every new visitor.

3. Auto-Redirect Upon Timer Expiry

• Checkbox (Auto-Redirect):
  • When enabled, redirects visitors to a specific URL once the countdown timer expires.
  • Ideal for guiding users to a post-sale page, registration form, or a “Sold Out” notice.
  • Example: Redirect users to a thank-you page after a sale ends.

4. Enable/Disable Time Counters

• Hide Day Counter:
  • Removes the “Days” unit from the countdown timer. Useful for short-duration campaigns (e.g., under 24 hours).
  • Example: For a same-day flash sale, you can hide the “Days” counter to focus only on hours, minutes, and seconds.
• Hide Hour Counter:
  • Removes the “Hours” unit from the countdown timer. Useful for campaigns that focus on minutes and seconds.
  • Example: For an event starting in less than an hour, hide the “Hours” counter to emphasize urgency.
• Hide Minute Counter:
