How to install pixel code on Wix

The quickest way to add WiserNotify to a Wix site is the WiserNotify app from the Wix App Market. The app installs the pixel for you, so there is no code to paste.

If you prefer not to use the app, you can add the pixel yourself with Wix’s Custom code setting (Steps 1 and 2 below). Wix only offers Custom code on sites with a premium plan and a connected domain.

Follow these steps:

Recommended: Install the WiserNotify App

1. Open WiserNotify in the Wix App Market and click Add to Site.
2. Choose your Wix site and approve the permissions.
3. Sign in to WiserNotify or create your account when asked. The app adds the pixel to your site automatically.
4. Go to Step 3 below to check that the pixel is active.

Manual Install (Without the App)

Use Steps 1 and 2 only if you are not using the app.

1Step 1: Copy the WiserNotify Pixel Code

1. Go to Install Pixel page
2. Click Copy Code to copy your script.

2Step 2: Add the Pixel Code to Wix

Login with Wix.

• Click on Settings
• Click on Advanced > Custom code.

• Click on Add code in Head section

• Paste Pixel Code into Paste the code snipper here box.
• Select All pages radio button and select Load code on each new page.
• Select Head radio button inside Place Code in.
• Click on the Save button.

3Step 3: Verify Installation

• Go back to your Wisernotify pixel page.
• Click on verify pixel installation to check if the pixel is active.
• If installed correctly, you will see a “Pixel Active” successfully message.

Note: This pixel script tag is required on every page wherever you want to track visitor activities, capture form submit events & display notifications.

Now, visit your site & reload or refresh it.

After that, return to WiserNotify panel & recheck the install pixel page & Wait for 5 seconds; it should show pixel detected popup. If not, then click on the verify my pixel button. It should display if installed correctly.
