This guide will walk you through:
Capturing Payment Activities: Connect PayPal with WiserNotify using a webhook to fetch real-time transaction and payment data.
Add Webhook Integration to Connect PayPal to pull the events sales & lead data
Step 1: Get the Webhook URL from WiserNotify
- Go to WiserNotify > Paypal Integration.
- Click on the Integrate button inside the Integration box.
Step 2: Configure Webhook in Paypal
Login with a developer account of Paypal,
1. Click on Login to dashboard and login
2. Navigate to My Apps & Credentials.
Check this link
Click on the Live tab.
Option – A. If you have already created the app & using it, then please click on the app name, Copy the API key & Secret key, and Paste it into the WiserNotify PayPal Integration popup.
Then, Get the PayPal Webhook URL by clicking on the Green Copy icon.
Option B. If you don’t have any app then please click on the “manage webhook” button in the “NVP/SOAP API apps” section & add the webhook.
Step 3:
Common Step (For options A & B).
Then go back to the Paypal App screen and click on Add the webhook in that app.
Paste the WiserNotify Webhook URL.
Select Checkout Order approved event.
Click on Save.
Please test by adding new data & visit the WiserNotify- Dashboard Data page. Here, You can see all the captured/ received data with its source name.
Note:
Make sure you select this integration as data-source for the notification (Customize notification > Data-source > Select this integration)
Important: After making changes, check your notification in a private browser to avoid cache issues.
