Testimonial to Weebly

Weebly is a popular platform for building websites due to its simplicity and flexibility, making it an excellent choice for small businesses, entrepreneurs, and creatives. However, creating a visually appealing website is only part of the equation. Establishing trust with your audience is crucial, and testimonials can bridge that gap.

This guide explores how testimonials can elevate your Weebly website by boosting credibility, increasing conversions, and engaging visitors.

Why Add Testimonials to Weebly?

Build Credibility with Social Proof: Studies show that 88% of consumers trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations. Testimonials on a Weebly site act as powerful social proof, demonstrating your credibility to new visitors.

Increase Conversions: Adding testimonials to critical pages of your Weebly site can increase conversions by up to 34%. Whether you’re promoting products or services, testimonials can address common objections and reassure potential customers.

Simplify Decision-Making: Testimonials reduce buyer hesitation by addressing pain points and showcasing solutions through real-life experiences. This is particularly useful for service-based businesses using Weebly.

Improve SEO: User-generated content, like testimonials, can include long-tail keywords that naturally improve your search engine rankings. Schema markup for testimonials can also enhance your search results with rich snippets.

Foster Emotional Connections: A heartfelt testimonial that aligns with your brand’s values creates a deeper connection with your audience, encouraging loyalty and trust.

How to Add Testimonials to Weebly

Step 1: Sign Up and Turn On Requests

First, sign up for WiserReview. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and the Starter plan covers 100 review requests a month.

Open Automation, pick your store platform, and connect it. Orders then trigger a review request by email, SMS, or WhatsApp after delivery.

Keep photo and video uploads on in the request, so customers can add a picture or a short clip with their words.

Step 2: Import the Testimonials You Already Have

Go to Manage reviews and click Import.

Testimonials you collected elsewhere come in from Google, Facebook, Trustpilot, or a CSV file.

Pick the source, map the fields, and confirm the import.

Every import keeps its original date, so older testimonials don’t show up as new ones.

Approve what you want to show. Nothing goes live until you publish it.

Step 3: Build the Widget

Go to Widgets and click Manage on the one you want. Carousel, Review wall, Trust badge, and Nudges all work for testimonials.

Each widget pulls from the same reviews, so you can run more than one layout without collecting twice.

For a testimonials page, pick the “Review wall” widget.

It shows every approved testimonial in a grid, with photos and star ratings. We use the same widget on our own site.

Click Manage to open the editor, then open “Filter”.

Set the review source, so the widget shows only the testimonials you want, by source, rating, or tag.

Match the colors, fonts, and card layout to your site. Changes preview live as you make them.

Turn on the Write a review button if you want visitors to leave a testimonial from the page.

Step 4: Install It on Your Site

Click Install. Pick your platform tab for guided steps, or use the Custom tab to copy the pixel and the widget code.

  • Platform tab – Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Squarespace, PrestaShop, and Ecwid each get their own install steps.
  • Custom tab – Paste the pixel once sitewide, then place the widget code where the testimonials should appear.

Save, reload the page, and the widget is live. New testimonials appear in it as you approve them.

Here is the Install pop-up with the platform tabs:

What Else WiserReview Does

Collection and display are the two jobs most stores need. These three come with every plan.

Review requests on autopilot

Requests go out after each order by email, SMS, or WhatsApp, with a reminder for customers who don’t reply the first time.

  • Trigger the request on order placed, shipped, or delivered.
  • Add a QR code or a direct link for in-person sales.

Open with a star rating or one short question, then let every customer write their testimonial. Send the same request to everyone. Sorting customers by score before you ask is review gating, and Google’s review policy doesn’t allow it.

Every send counts as one request on your plan, so the bill follows the reviews you ask for, not your order count.

The request link also works from your POS, email tool, or SMS platform.

You can also post new sales data to the WiserReview webhook API to automate the process, so testimonial requests go out through the channels you already use.

One inbox for every testimonial

Aggregation: testimonials from forms, email, social, and imports sit in one list, with source and rating on each.

Alerts: you’re notified when a new testimonial lands, so replies go out while the customer still remembers the order.

AI replies: draft a response in one click and edit it before it posts.

Display and share

  • Highlight the strongest testimonials on any page.
  • Publish approved reviews live without editing a page.
  • Turn a testimonial into a social graphic and post it.

Reviews you collect once keep working across the site and your social channels.

Using Generic or Vague Testimonials

  • Avoid testimonials that lack specifics, such as “Great service!” Instead, focus on detailed feedback that provides context and value.
