Creating Review Feed Widget

If you want to add an interactive Review Feed widget-type notification to your website, WiserNotify makes it easy to set up and customize widget notifications to enhance engagement and drive action.

Follow this step-by-step guide to design, configure, and publish your widget-type notification.

Step 1: Create a Widget-Type Notification#

1. Log in to your WiserNotify dashboard.
2. Navigate to the Social Proof section and select Review Feed from the widget options.
3. Click the “Add” button under the Review Feed widget to begin

 

Step 2: Customize Your Notification#

In the Design Section, customize the notification to align with your brand and preferences:

 

• Text Editor:
  • Allows you to edit the text content of your review feed notifications, such as titles, descriptions, or any additional custom text.
• Click Actions:
  • Configure what happens when a user clicks on the review feed. Examples include redirecting to a specific page, opening a link, or triggering other actions.
• Review Tab & Header:
  • Customize the appearance of the review tab or header that holds the reviews. This can include options like titles, icons, colors, and alignment.
• Reviewer Row:
  • Adjust how individual review rows appear in the feed, such as the layout, reviewer’s name, rating display, and review content visibility.
• Position & Animation:
  • Set where the review feed appears on your website (e.g., bottom left, right, or floating positions).
  • Add animations to make the feed more engaging, such as slide-in effects or fading animations.
• Style:
  • Personalize the overall design of the review feed, including fonts, colors, background styles, borders, and padding.
• Data Control:
  • Manage the source of your reviews and choose which reviews should be displayed (e.g., pulling reviews from Google, Facebook, or custom sources).
• Review Filters:
  • Filter reviews based on specific criteria like star ratings (e.g., only showing 4-star and 5-star reviews) or keywords.
• Timing Control:
  • Set rules for when and how often the review feed appears on your website, such as delay times or frequency of notifications.

Step 3: Configure Display Settings #

 

Under the Display Section, define where and how your notification will appear:

 

1. Select Pages: Choose specific pages or display notifications across all pages.
2. Multiple Websites: Configure settings for notifications on multiple domains.
3. Advanced Targeting: Target users based on visitor behavior, location, UTM parameters, cookies, or referrer.

Step 4: Integrate Data Source & Publish#

 

 

1. Navigate to the Data Sources tab.
2. Select your integration (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom webhook) for pulling sales data.
3. Configure data filtering options to refine the displayed records.
