How to Add Testimonials to ClickFunnels (2026)

ClickFunnels 2.0’s page editor guides cover a Product Carousel for product images, but no testimonial element. To show testimonials you collect, build a review widget in WiserReview, copy its embed code and paste it into an HTML/JS element.

ClickFunnels Elements or a Testimonial Widget?

Both put customer proof on a page. The real difference is who writes each quote and who keeps it fresh.

• ClickFunnels elements: place Image, Headline and Paragraph elements in columns and type each quote, name and photo yourself. A new quote means editing the page.
• Review widget: customers send testimonials through a form, you approve them, and a carousel or wall shows them on any page where you paste its code.

The Product Carousel is built for product images, so it does not pull in customer quotes. A widget fills that gap.

How to Add Testimonials to ClickFunnels

The widget here comes from WiserReview. Its free plan lives on the Shopify and Wix app stores only. On other platforms, paid plans cost $6.75 a month when billed yearly, and a 7-day free trial lets you test it first.

Step 1: Create a Testimonial Form

1. Create a WiserReview account to start the 7-day free trial, or log in to your existing one.
2. In the left menu, open Collect reviews, then Forms.
3. Click Add and choose Ask Questions.

Step 2: Set Up the Questions

1. Open the Questions tab and keep the Rating and About You blocks.
2. Add one text question about the result the customer got from your offer.
3. Turn on Upload media if you want customers to send a photo or a video.
4. Click Save, then Get embed code. The URL and QR tabs give you a link to send to customers.

Step 3: Import and Approve Testimonials

1. Open Manage reviews.
2. Click Import to bring in quotes you already hold, from a CSV or another source.
3. Approve the ones to display. The widget shows approved testimonials only.

Step 4: Open a Widget

1. Click Widgets in the left menu.
2. Open the Review Widgets tab.
3. Pick Carousel or Wall of love, then click Add widget.

Step 5: Filter and Style It

1. Open Filter Reviews and pick your Review source.
2. If you run several funnels, use Show reviews by tags to match each one to its own offer.
3. Open Color Options and pick colors that fit your funnel.

Step 6: Copy the Embed Code

1. Click Install on the widget.
2. Stay on the Javascript tab and click the copy icon.
3. If the widget stays blank on your page later, come back and copy the iFrame tab instead.

3. Click the orange plus button in the row to add a new element, then pick HTML/JS from the Misc category.
4. Click the element and choose Open Code Editor.
5. Paste the full embed code, close the editor, then click Save and preview the page.

ClickFunnels applies the code when you close the editor. Paste the code exactly as WiserReview gives it, script tags included.

Testimonials Not Showing on ClickFunnels?

• Pasted into the wrong element: code placed in a Paragraph or Headline prints as plain text. Use the HTML/JS element.
• Code editor left open: ClickFunnels applies your code when the editor closes. Close it, then click Save.
• Cut-off code: copy the whole block from WiserReview, opening and closing tags included.
• Unpublished funnel: preview shows changes first. Publish the funnel, then reload the live page.
• Empty box on the page: swap in the iFrame version of the code, which does not rely on a script running inside the element.
• Custom Code Type option: when your element offers it, choose 3rd Party Embed Code.
• Cramped row: a one-column row gives the carousel the width it needs.
• Nothing approved yet: approve at least one testimonial in Manage reviews.
• Tag filter too narrow: clear it in the widget editor and test again.
