How to Add an Announcement Bar to LearnWorlds (2026)

LearnWorlds has no setting called announcement bar. You can show a banner with its Pop-up Builder, or add a bar that stays on top of the page with a widget loaded through a custom code slot.

A popup banner sits over the page. A bar is a strip at the top that visitors can read while they browse. This guide walks through the bar in 7 steps.

How Do You Add an Announcement Bar to LearnWorlds?

The bar comes from WiserNotify. Its pixel goes into your school’s custom code once, then every bar you build runs through it. The video shows a bar being built, and the steps follow it.

Step 1: Copy Your WiserNotify Pixel

1. Sign up for WiserNotify and open Install Pixel.
2. Click Copy code.

Step 2: Paste It in Site Custom Code

1. In LearnWorlds, go to Website, then Design, then Edit Website.
2. Click Site custom code.
3. Paste the pixel into the head slot for all pages of your site template, then save.

LearnWorlds also has head slots for logged-in users and for built-in pages such as the course player. A bar for visitors belongs in the all-pages slot.

Step 3: Verify the Pixel

1. Open your school in a new tab once.
2. In WiserNotify, open Install Pixel and click Verify pixel installation.

Announcement Bar Not Showing on LearnWorlds?

• Pixel not verified: load the school, then run Verify pixel installation again.
• URL mismatch: the page address in the Display tab must match the live LearnWorlds URL, including a custom domain.
