How to Add Testimonials to Kajabi (2026)

Kajabi has a Testimonials section for quotes you type in by hand. To show testimonials you collect, build a review widget, copy its embed code and paste it into a Custom Code block on your page.

The widget keeps showing new testimonials as you approve them, so the page does not go stale.

The steps below run from the form to the live Kajabi page.

Kajabi Testimonials Section or a Widget?

Both put a student quote on your page. They differ in who writes it and who keeps it current.

• Kajabi Testimonials section: add it from Add Section, then pick a preset with one, two or three testimonials. You type each quote, name and photo yourself.
• Review widget: students send testimonials through a form, you approve them, and the widget shows them on any page where you paste its code.

Kajabi’s offer checkout has its own testimonial fields for an author and a quote. A widget does not run there, so use that for checkout.

How to Add Testimonials to Kajabi

This guide uses WiserReview. It is free on the Shopify and Wix app stores. Everywhere else it starts at $6.75 a month billed yearly, with a 7-day free trial.

Step 1: Create a Testimonial Form

1. Sign up for WiserReview and start the 7-day free trial, or log in.
2. In the left menu, open Collect reviews, then Forms.
3. Click Add and choose Ask Questions.

Step 2: Set Up the Questions

1. Open the Questions tab and keep the Rating and About You blocks.
2. Add a text block that asks about the result a student got.
3. Switch on Upload media if you want photos or video.
4. Click Save, then Get embed code and open the URL or QR tab for a link to send to students.

Step 3: Import and Approve Testimonials

1. Open Manage reviews.
2. Click Import to bring in testimonials from a CSV or another source.
3. Approve the ones you want to show. Only approved testimonials reach the widget.

Step 4: Open a Widget

1. Click Widgets in the left menu.
2. Open the Review Widgets tab.
3. Pick Wall of love or Carousel, then click Add widget.

Step 5: Filter and Style It

1. Open Filter Reviews and pick your Review source.
2. Use Show reviews by tags to pick one course or program, if you sell several.
3. Open Color Options and match the widget to your Kajabi brand colors.

Step 6: Copy the Embed Code

1. Click Install on the widget.
2. Stay on the Javascript tab and click the copy icon.
3. If the script does not run on your page, copy from the iFrame tab instead.

Step 7: Paste It into Kajabi

1. Log in to Kajabi and open Website from the Dashboard.
2. Open the Website Page or Landing Page you want, and click its title to open the page builder.
3. Open the Section where the testimonials should sit, then click Add block.
4. Click Custom Code and paste the embed code into the Code field.
5. Click Save, then preview the page.

A Custom Code block needs the script tags, so paste the full code exactly as WiserReview gives it.

The block is 6 columns wide by default, so adjust its width in the block’s layout settings if the widget looks narrow.

The Settings tab on a page also has a Custom Code panel, but it does not accept script tags. Use the block.

What Makes a Course Testimonial Work?

Strong testimonials on a Kajabi course, membership or coaching page share a few traits.

• A clear result: a job, a first client, a finished project or a skill gained.
• A time frame: “in 3 weeks” tells a visitor what to expect.
• A starting point: “I had never edited video” lets beginners see themselves.
• A name and photo: a real face makes the quote believable.
• Video when possible: a short clip carries more trust than text.

In the widget’s AI settings, switch on Highlight Key Words to mark the result inside long quotes. Visitors who skim still see it.

Testimonials Not Showing on Kajabi?

• Wrong block: code pasted into a text block shows as plain text. Use a Custom Code block.
• Script tags missing: a Custom Code block needs them. Paste the full code from WiserReview.
• Page Settings panel: that panel rejects script tags. Move the code into a block.
• Not saved: click Save in the page builder, then reload the live page.
• Checkout page: page code does not run on offer checkout or upsell pages.
• Narrow widget: the block is 6 columns wide by default. Widen it in the layout settings.
• No approved testimonials: approve at least one in Manage reviews.
• Filter too tight: clear the tag filter in the widget to test.
• Old copy of the page: reload your live page in a private window.

Testimonial Mistakes on Kajabi

• Vague praise: “Great course” tells a visitor nothing. Ask for the result and the time it took.
• Too many quotes at once: six crowded quotes read as noise. Show the strongest few.
• No names: anonymous quotes look made up. Use a name and photo.
• Old testimonials only: a page with last year’s students looks stale. Keep approving new ones.
• Hiding the video: a short clip is your strongest proof. Put it high on the page.
