Recent Sales Popup for ClickFunnels (Classic and 2.0)

To add a sales popup to ClickFunnels, paste the WiserNotify pixel into your funnel’s Body Tracking Code box. Then connect a ClickFunnels webhook so real orders feed the popup.

A first-time visitor cannot tell whether anyone else is buying. A message like “Jasmine from Austin just bought the Email Mastery bundle” is social proof that shows them.

How to Add a Sales Popup on ClickFunnels

The setup has two parts. First you install the pixel so the popup can show, then you connect a webhook so it pulls real sales data. The video covers both, and the steps are written out under it.

Step 1: Copy Your WiserNotify Pixel

1. Log in to WiserNotify and add your funnel’s domain as a website.
2. Open the Install Pixel page.
3. Click Copy Code.

Step 2: Open the Funnels Menu

1. Log in to ClickFunnels.
2. Click the ClickFunnels tab, then Funnels.

Step 3: Pick Your Funnel

1. Find the funnel where the popup should show.
2. Click its name to open it in the editor.

Step 4: Paste Pixel in Funnel Settings

Your pixel is now live on every page of this funnel.

1. Click Settings in the top menu.
2. Scroll to the Body Tracking Code box.
3. Paste your WiserNotify pixel inside it.
4. Scroll to the bottom and click Save And Update Settings.

Step 5: Create the WiserNotify Webhook

1. In WiserNotify, go to Integrations and find ClickFunnels.
2. Click Integrate and add a name for the connection, such as “ClickFunnels sales.”
3. Click Create to generate the webhook URL.
4. Copy the webhook URL.

Step 6: Open Classic Webhook Settings

Using ClickFunnels 2.0? Skip to Step 9.

1. Back in your funnel, open Settings and scroll to the Webhook section.
2. Click Manage Funnel Webhooks.

Step 7: Add a New Webhook

1. You land on the Active Funnel Webhooks page.
2. Click New Webhook in the top right.

Step 8: Fill In the Classic Webhook

1. Paste the WiserNotify webhook URL into the URL field.
2. Select purchase_created as the event for sales notifications.
3. Set the version to 1 and the adapter to attribute.
4. Click Create Funnel Webhook.
5. Add a second webhook with the contact_created event if you also want signup notifications.

Step 9: Add the 2.0 Webhook

On Classic, you already finished this in Step 8.

1. In ClickFunnels 2.0, open Settings and click Webhooks.
2. Paste the WiserNotify webhook URL.
3. Select Order.created for sales notifications and Contact.created for signup notifications.
4. Create the webhook and save your changes.

Step 10: Choose Recent Sales

Sales Count shows a running total of sales instead, if you prefer that.

1. In WiserNotify, open Notifications > Social proof.
2. Go to the Sales Activities tab.
3. Click Add on Recent Sales, which shows each buyer’s name, location, product, and time.

Step 11: Name the Notification

1. Type a name, such as “Funnel recent sales.”
2. Enter your funnel’s domain and press Enter.
3. Click Create & customize.

Step 12: Design the Notification

1. Edit the wording in Text editor and switch the language if you need to.
2. Turn on a button in Click actions if the popup should link to your offer.
3. Set the icon, position, colors, and animation in Position & animation and Style.
4. Set a display delay and how long the popup stays on screen in Timing control.
5. Click Next.

Step 13: Pick the Pages

1. Go to the Display tab.
2. Leave All pages on, or choose Pages when url condition matches to show the popup only on pages such as the sales and order pages.

Step 14: Connect Data and Publish

1. Open the Data source tab.
2. Tick your ClickFunnels connection under Your integrations.
3. Click Publish and turn the notification on.
4. Open your funnel in a private window to see it live.

ClickFunnels Conversion Alerts Explained

“Conversion alerts” can mean two things. WiserNotify builds the ones your visitors see on the page, and ClickFunnels sends its own messages to you.

• Alerts for visitors: a small popup that shows a new purchase or signup, such as “Mark from Boston just joined the webinar.”
• Sales alerts: built from the purchase_created event on Classic or Order.created on ClickFunnels 2.0.
• Signup alerts: built from contact_created on Classic or Contact.created on 2.0.

Alerts that tell you about a new order come from your ClickFunnels notification settings, so they are not part of this popup.

Sales Popup vs Popup Checkout Form

A sales popup is a small message in a corner of the page that shows past purchases. It does not collect an order or an email.

A popup order form is a different element that you build in the ClickFunnels page editor. The two work well together, since the notification builds trust while the form takes the order.

Troubleshooting a Popup That Won’t Appear

If the popup is missing on your live funnel, check these first.

• Pixel not saved: the code has to sit in Body Tracking Code, and you must click Save And Update Settings.
• Webhook not added: a Recent Sales popup needs real data, so add the webhook and confirm it is active.
• Wrong event: use purchase_created or Order.created for sales, and contact_created or Contact.created for signups.
• Wrong Classic settings: set the webhook version to 1 and the adapter to attribute.
• Wrong data source: in the notification’s Data source tab, select the ClickFunnels connection.
• Notification is off: check that it is turned on in the WiserNotify dashboard.
• Old cache: open the funnel in a private window.

• Real urgency: pair the popup with a true limited offer, a simple way of creating urgency in sales.

Sales Popup Mistakes to Avoid

• Too many popups: show one every 30 to 45 seconds and cap how many appear per session.
• Generic copy: “someone bought something” feels fake, so include the product, place, and time.
• Covering your CTA: test the position on desktop and on mobile.
• Style clash: match the colors and fonts of your funnel so the popup looks native.
• Skipping the numbers: watch views, clicks, and conversions, then adjust.
