Protection of personal data has always been a top priority for WiserNotify and we welcome the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that come into effect on May 25th 2018. One GDPR requirement is that we must describe how we ensure GDPR compliance and commit to this in a data processor agreement with our customers.

Data we collecting through our integration option with your services are as below

  • Read Order data like person name, product image & product URL.
  • Add the script tag on header file to add our pixel code.
Example: We use Shopify eCommerce store API like

read_products','read_orders','read_script_tags','write_script_tags','read_checkouts', 'read_customers', Using 'read_script_tags' & 'write_script_tags' API: To add our pixel script tag on your store, so we can show social proof notifications as per your configuration. Also, accessing read_products, read_orders & raed_customers API: so we can receive your customer signup & its orders. These data will be used to generate a notification.

Additionally, we collect personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed the App. Information about individuals who visit your stores, such as their IP address, web browser details, time zone, and information about the cookies installed on the particular device.

We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account like Full name & email address.

Information we collect via below technology:

  • "Pixel Tags". In addition, we use “pixel tags” (also referred to as clear gifs, web beacons, or web bugs). Pixel tags are a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies (as noted below), that are used to track online movements of web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, pixel tags are embedded in web pages. Pixel tags also allow us to send email messages and determine whether those emails have been opened, to ensure that we are sending only messages that are of interest to our Customers. We may use this information to reduce or eliminate messages sent to a user. We do not tie the information gathered by pixel tags to our users’ personal information. We installed our pixel Javascript file on your store that collects visitor data like which page visiting & how many time click on notifications. Also, It created notification design & show it to your store as per your configuration is done through the admin panel.

  • "Browser Local Storage". We also store data locally on your device to enhance the user experience on our Site. For example, browser local storage allows us to save the state of your current page so that when you return at a later time or refresh the browser, the page will remain the same.     (i) save a list of items the user last used on the Site or Services (such as events and properties the user selected) so we can display “recently viewed items”; or
    (ii) marking once a user has seen a tutorial, video, tooltip or onboarding flow so that the user only sees the content one time.

These data used to create notification which is our core services, that creates better user experiences & give benefits to our service users.

Data Retention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records. unless and until you ask us to delete this information. It's secured on our google cloud server. We used best & advance practice to encrypt your data & store into our database. Once you request us to delete your data, we will completely delete it from our database server.
